GPA -  Winter Break Art Competition

“A fresh start” 

2020 is coming to an end, and with it, probably one of the most memorable years of your life. The global pandemic has changed many aspects of society. From the way we work and study, to the way we socialize. These days the first vaccines are being administered and it’s only a matter of time until we can end our current situation and are ready for a fresh start. 

How do you envision the near future? What will a fresh start look like? What are your hopes and dreams for 2021? 

Your challenge is to conceptualize and create a work of art that answers questions like these. You can create art with any material in any form, shape or size. Your artwork may be created digitally or by using traditional techniques, such as drawing, painting or sculpture. 

As long as it follows the topic “A fresh start” anything and everything is allowed. 

When we return in Spring and have a fresh start at school, all the artworks created over the winter break will be displayed at school. 

Everyone will get to cast a vote for their top 3 choices. The artworks with the most votes will win prizes. 

Do your best! I hope you all have a great winter break, stay healthy and have “a fresh start” into 2021.
